Last week, Lieutenant Governor Rachel Hunt was appointed to the Executive Committee of the National Lieutenant Governors Association (NLGA) at the NLGA Annual Meeting. The Lieutenant Governor was elected by her peer lieutenant governors as an at-large member.
“I am excited about this opportunity to serve in a national leadership role with NLGA, where I can share North Carolina’s unique solutions to the shared challenges we face across the country,” said Lieutenant Governor Rachel Hunt. “I look forward to working with my fellow lieutenant governors to explore bipartisan best practices to improve state government.”
The NLGA Executive Committee is the governing body of NLGA. NLGA is the nonpartisan, professional association for the elected officials first in line of succession to the governors in the 50 states and five U.S. territories.
