Lt. Governor Robinson has appointed Mr. Stephen Gay pursuant to N.C. General Statute section 115C-218(b)(2)(e), to serve as his Designee to the Charter School Advisory Board, effective immediately.

This week Lt. Governor Mark Robinson visited Machine Specialties Inc. in part of celebrating the 8th Annual National Apprenticeship Week. Machine Specialties Inc. (MSI) has been manufacturing precision parts since 1969.
At MSI they believe that it is essential that their employees receive full knowledge about the company. During their time at MSI they can gain exposure to twelve different major departments throughout the company.
Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson Establishes the Energy Innovation Committee of the Energy Policy Council
As Chairman of the Energy Policy Council, Lt. Governor Robinson is pleased to announce the establishment of the Energy Innovation Committee. This committee will serve the state and work to inform the Energy Policy Council about new, and emerging energy technology.
The Energy Innovation Committee will be chaired by Dr. John Hardin and will include Jenny Kelvington and Brian LiVecchi. We are also thankful for DEQ and the State Energy Office for providing staff support for this new subcommittee.

Today, the Supreme Court of the United States released its decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.
Lieutenant Governor Robinson states, "I am overjoyed with the decision by our Supreme Court - for decades we have been praying for a day like today and it is finally here. I have experienced the pain of abortion in my own life and know the long-term effects it can have on families.

“I have experienced the pain of abortion in my own life and know the pain it can cause families. That is a huge reason why I fight so hard for the life of the unborn.
The unprecedented leak from our nation’s highest court is an atrocity. The draft that was leaked was not a final decision by the court, and it appears that it was released by a radical leftist to influence the final decision of the court. This person must be found and prosecuted.
My sincere prayer is that our Justices stay the course and continue their work without the fear of public backlash.

Monday, liberal activists supporting CRT and sexually explicit materials protested at the Lieutenant Governor’s Office to talk about books in schools. They claimed the Lieutenant Governor was trying to “ban books.”
Lieutenant Governor Robinson states, “We have never advocated for the banning of books. If you want to purchase and view a book at your local bookstore or public library, you should have the right to do so.

Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson on NC Supreme Court Ruling
In a 4–3 party line decision, the Democrat-controlled North Carolina Supreme Court ordered North Carolina Congressional and legislative districts to be redrawn. This decision reversed the bipartisan and unanimous trial court ruling. All three conservative justices dissented from this dangerous decision.
Democrat activist Justice Anita Earls was the deciding vote, even though she should have recused herself from the case since her campaign was funded by the plaintiffs and the case was argued by her former law partner.
Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson Responds to Attorney General Merrick Garland
This week Attorney General Merrick Garland sent a memo to the FBI and state attorneys general; to prosecute parents they consider to be harassing or threatening school board members. First off, I want to state that anyone who crosses the line from freedom of speech to violence should be punished, however, the claim that parents are acting as domestic terrorists is preposterous.
