Future-Ready Community College Tour

As part of her Future-Ready North Carolina Plan, Lieutenant Governor Rachel Hunt will visit all 58 North Carolina community colleges and spotlight workforce development initiatives. 

During the tour, Lieutenant Governor Hunt will meet with administrators, educators, and students and champion Propel NC funding to support workforce-focused programs. Lieutenant Governor Hunt’s policy platform, Future-Ready North Carolina, champions investments in child care and early childhood education and workforce development, in part through North Carolina’s community colleges.

“North Carolina’s community colleges offer pathways to opportunity and help train our strong workforce.” said Lieutenant Governor Hunt. “We need to make meaningful investments so more people can access quality, affordable education and we can build a Future-Ready North Carolina. I can’t wait to visit each one of these strong schools and speak with their fantastic educators and students and see their programs firsthand.”
